DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING

The Computer Science & Engineering branch was started in the year 1996 so as to provide students with analytical, design & communication skills necessary to build computing system. The department has grown by leaps and bounds within these years, with active support from the Board of Management and Principal to pursue reaserch and development activities, along with continues development in infrastructure.

The department has young, motivated, committed and enthusiastic staff members. The department has well equipped labs like Networks Lab., Data Structures Lab., DBA Lab., Microprocessor Lab., CGV Lab., Web programming Lab. And Computer Center with latest configured and licensed software, which provide excellent facilities for learning.

Department has achieved 100% results in VTU examinations in VIII semester for academic year 2008-09. The department also organizes technical talks and guest lectures for students and faculty members. The department also has library with about 650 well stacked books, where for each student a book is issued which can be retained for the whole semester.
