The Hirasugar Institute of Technology, Nidasoshi was established in the Year 1996 with Electronics & Communication Engg. Department as one among the four disciplines of Engg. to produce quality engineers in the field of Electronics and Communication under the divine spirit of his holiness Sriman Niranjan Pranava Swarupi Jagadguru Pancham Sri Shivalingeshwar Mahaswamiji Siddha Sounsthan Math Nidasoshi, president of S.J.P.N.Trust.

The guidance and support of members of board of management Sri.M.S.Patil Ex-Irrigation minister & vice president S.J.P.N.Trust & also Sri S.S.Patil renowned civil engineer, Secretary ,S.J.P.N.Trust has been the secret of success for our college. Their experience and knowledge developed the department standards as per AICTE norms.

Over 250 students are being educated in the highly qualified learning atmosphere which has an investment of about 60lak rupees and for advanced tomorrow 18lak rupees investment has been planned to develop sophisticated learning environment.

The Department is having well experienced, qualified staff having good knowledge of both industry and academics and Staffs are attending various seminars & workshops regularly to upgrade themselves in different fields. The department has 8 lab namely AE Lab, LD Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, AC+LIC Lab, VHDL/VLSI Lab, PE Lab & MC/DSP Labs having good quality instruments and latest versions of licensed software, Digital CRO’s & Signal Generators, AC facility for VLSI design Lab, latest versions of communication equipments using which the students can get real time knowledge of the subjects and develop themselves to face the challenges of the industries.

The department is having association of students & staff called ECSA (Electronics & Communication Students & Staff Association). The sole purpose of association to bring out the hidden talents of students technical & non- technical by organizing different department level activities.

Students counseling is conducted and student’s performance in I.A.test as well as attendance status is intimated to their parents for the purpose of monitoring.
